Attending Canada Prep

Canada Prep Academy seeks responsible student-athletes who are just as capable in the classroom as they are on the football field. Student-athletes must have the ability and motivation to participate in an academic curriculum that is rigorous and designed to prepare them for university. They must also be able to balance their full participation in our prep football program that emulates college football and features a demanding workload of workouts, practices, training, team meetings, and film sessions, sometimes early in the mornings or late at nights.

For the decision-making process, Canada Prep requires:
1. An on-line application form submitted by the student and his parent(s)/guardian(s)
2. A copy of the student’s updated transcript from his current school
3. A copy of the student’s most recent report cards (final or midterm)
4. A copy of or link to the student’s highlight footage (preferably on Youtube or Hudl)
5. A link to any recruiting profiles that may provide accomplishments and relevant background information
6. A reference letter from a recent teacher or coach (high school or club)

*A reference letter from a coach must be included if the applicant does not have highlight footage

Each of the following components may be sent online via the on-line application form. Additional documents can also be mailed to:

Coach McArthur will consider the applicant’s demonstrated athletic ability and skill level according to the highlight film, accomplishments, and reference letter(s) provided.
Applicants for fall 2016 enrollment should apply before March 2016 to be considered for early admissions. After that date, applicants will be considered on a rolling basis until July 31, 2016 if their football position(s) are not filled.
